The Vermont Cannabis Care Network.

We accept only cancer patients at this time. Currently, we do not have exceptions. Thank you!

We are committed to the safety of our consumers, producing quality products, and improving our sick communities’ quality of life.

Supporting all patients with a cancer diagnosis, in meeting their medical needs through an abiding commitment to access, affordability, and patient comfort, with free cannabis.

What We Do

We’re just two small-time Vermonters who want to make a difference for other people’s loved ones like we wish we could have done for ours.

Cancer patients potentially face financial hardships associated with the cost of cannabis and travel for treatment and typically can't afford cannabis regularly. Cancer patients face a diagnosis that is sometimes a matter of life and death. This program aims to reduce that financial barrier for them. We want to help focus on people who are facing these barriers so they can focus on their healing.

Since cannabis is not covered under any health insurance plans yet, this financial burden falls directly on the patient and their family. Currently, they have three choices, to get cannabis from an unreliable source and face the financial burden, to try their hand at growing their cannabis and hope their investment pays out, or buy from a dispensary, that although safe can be a financial burden during this challenging time.

We are committed to getting the products needed to patients, regardless of location. We have a team of several beautiful people who help us with transporting all over the state.

How the VCCN Works.

  • To get started with the VCCN, click on the link above and choose the appointment named ‘Schedule Your Intake Call.’ it is a 5-minute call, or we can text/email you. This appointment is just for us to set up a time to do your intake and answer any initial questions not answered in the FAQ.

  • After we schedule the intake appointment call, you will receive an email notification to complete our intake form. At the top of the email, it will say ‘Complete Forms’ in a green box; if you click that, it will take you to a page to fill out our intake form. You must fill this out before your appointment, or we will have to reschedule your intake call. If you already filled out the intake form when scheduling your intake, you can ignore this step.

  • For your intake call, we will use the information provided via the form to help best alleviate your symptoms, talk about FECO/RSO treatment options, and answer questions you may have. If you have any issues, please have a family member or trusted person fill out the information for you.

  • Typically, within 48 hours, we, or a VCCN partner, will meet you with your medicine.

  • When you require refills, please make sure to give us at least three weeks’ notice. When you require refills, please book a 10-minute refill request appointment. After you book the appointment, you will receive an email prompting you to fill out our refill form. Your caregiver can also reach out if you are unable to by filling out the form on your behalf.

*We do require current documentation of your illness. Please note that if you mail a copy, you will need to wait for your medicine until AFTER we have received the documentation. If you are going to upload your documentation, please make sure that is done prior to your appointment or we will have to reschedule. Since we need your documentation before your refill, it is best to get started on this now so you don't run out.

**Please note that if you do not have cancer, we cannot accommodate you at this time. We are very sorry for this inconvenience and wish you well, but if an appointment is scheduled we will have to cancel.

How You Can Help.

We are looking for volunteers to help assist in getting patients their cannabis. We have patients across the state of Vermont who are looking for easier access to receiving their cannabis. If you can help assist with being a pick-up location or delivering directly to patients, we would love for you to assist us!

Cannabis consumption is essential for keeping me less than debilitated every day. My brain injury has left me unable to work, so the cost of cannabis can be the deciding factor in whether I get pain relief or not. Without their generosity, buying food would be a priority over pain relief.
